KISTI held 2015 Global Academy for S&T Infrastructure on May 14-15 in its head office. Global Academy was planned to provide developing countries with experience and knowledge on S&T Infrastructure KISTI has been building up since its foundation in 1962. This program was organized in cooperation with STEPI(Science and Technology Policy Institue) and researchers from Science and Technology Information Center in Ethiopia participated as 1st trainees. 2 days of this program consisted of 3 main areas such as information collection and serive, information analsyis and evaluation, supercomputing utilization. Researchers of STIC learned the history and process of S&T Infrastructure development in Korea and discussed the way with KISTI researchers they will persue in future. Responding to the increasing demand from developing countries, KISTI will expand its S&T Infrastructure training program next year.
