KISTI held the 50th anniversary of its foundation on May 18th at Daejeon. Since founded in 1962, KISTI has been leading the builing of national R&D infrastructure in Korea and playing a significant role for Strong Korea with its information dissemination, analaysis and supercomputing resources.

In his congratulatory speech, Dr.Kim Chang-kyung,Vic Minister of MEST has complimented KISTI for its devotion and performance in advancing Korea into science and technology strong country.

Dr.Park Young-seo,President of KISTI said "KISTI will not save any efforts to lead another 50-year-of S&Tin Korea.

After the ceremony, KISTI also held general assembly for KISTI alumni association with 3 former presidents and 40 people who retired KISTI since its foundation.
